By mtn. theologian The real life adventure story and the writer ( both of which I was familiar with) are top notch but the photographs, apparent photo copies, were in most cases very poor quality and in a few cases impossible to distinguish. Simply random dark spots on a white background.I realize the originals were old but that said, either the result should have been better or the publisher should have just left those particular ones out.Or was the editorial staff asleep at the switch?

They are all extremely interesting. Anyone interested in reading about some of the amazing adventures that Jack London had during his life, that later resulted in very interesting books and stories, should read this.

Fiji, Bora Bora, Samoa, Tahiti are just a few of the islands visited during this 1906-1908 cruise. Go back to a simpler time before these jewels of Eden have be come commercialized.
