Granted, when this book was written, the author may have not know what ketogenic was, but these are not recipes that will bring you close to nutritional ketosis. Maybe that's why it was so cheap. Save your money and buy a more up-to-date book on true ketogenic recipes. Check the date it was written and published.

"The philosophy of Ketogenic Diet is that the body will breakdown fast instead of using carbohydrates, making the body become more accustomed to fat burning without the loss of energy." - the introduction alone is really enough to make any overweight cook happy. Seeing bacon with some of the recipes such as the "Bacon Cabbage Hearty Salad" and the "Bacon Egg Wrap Keto Mix" is sure to make such people even happier. This is really a good choice for any health enthusiast anywhere.

Recipes to Gain Weight By Malainie Just looking at the intro and the first couple of recipes, I can say that if you followed this author's advice, you would gain weight! The breakfast pancakes are in no way part of a low carb, keto diet. Don't be fooled by the five star reviews from people looking for a weight loss program. If you're looking for something to help you lose weight, keep looking!
