By Kurt Olson The book starts off with giving some of the reasons why a person would want to become a vegetarian: religious reasons, being a animal lover and of course the most popular - health reasons. Nutritional facts were given to support reasons to be a vegetarian.Many delicious sounding and looking (all recipes had pictures) recipes were given for: breakfast, brunch, snacks, appetizers, soups, stews, main dishes, barbecue/grilling, side dishes and whole grain dishes.I thought the addition of having a list of vitamins in vegetarian foods listing sources and importance of them, was excellent.

I thought that shifting to Vegetarianism will bore my life out because of the less amount of choices I will have to eat; however this book has made me think otherwise. With the help of this book, I was enlightened to the never ending options that I can have with my everyday Vegetarian meals. This book has quite a number of interesting recipes, one of which is Spring Onion Pie. From appetizers to desserts, this book will surely help me stick to my new regime.

This book is a great welcome back party, with all the tasty recipes to refresh my memory and get me back on a healthy path. The book also offers important information on the background of being vegetarian and nutrition values. I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in vegetarian cooking.
