3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Frontier Stories Written With Personality By Suellen Ocean Not just about Minnesota. This book was much better than I expected. Flandrau was a "respectable" character. He was a lawyer and Indian Agent. He narrates his experiences so well it's hard to believe it was written over 100 years ago. Great resource for historians.
