0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Valuable Cookbook but Use With Caution By Joseph Capuana This cookbook suffers from a conspicuous lack of proofreading before going to press. In the "Minestra" recipie it calls for "nutmeg" in the directions, which is not listed in the ingredients. In the Chicken Soup recipie, same problem occurs, this time "green peppers" are listed in the directions but not in the ingredients. I could list more inaccuracies in this book but it would be like beating a dead horse. It is a valuable cookbook which collects regional recipies from the Italian population that settled in Utica, NY. However, you have to scrutinize the recipies in this book very carefully because they seem to have been assembled with a pronounced lack of care and precision. Even the left facing page numbers are on the wrong side of the page. Use this book, but use it with with caution.

You won't be disappointed, try all the recipes and enjoy? Especially the macaroni and sauce,eat it 2 times a week. Thursdays and Sundays.Great book "Cheech" .

Have not yet received, however, as a personal friend of mine, I will confirm you will not be disappointed in the book! I have had many of the dishes in this book and they are mouth watering!!!
