Johnson Preserving and canning foods has never really been something I was interested in, but after a friend told me how much money she’s saving I decided to give this book a try. It is so easy to follow and so easy to start canning and freezing. It gives you exact steps for each method and doesn’t skip over anything, no matter how small. I would’ve never thought to use self-sealing lids but I’m telling you, it makes all the difference. I’d buy this book again just for the tips at the end

People make it sound like it’s so difficult to preserve By Nikki Smith People make it sound like it’s so difficult to preserve, that I have been thoroughly intimidated to try. THIS BOOK MAKES IT SO EASY!! I’m usually such a wasteful person and I’m ashamed, but this book explains exactly what I need and the PROPER methods for preserving. I don’t think I’ve purchased a more useful book in years. It even gives you a complete and extensive list of the equipment you need in order to prepare. BUY THIS BOOK, you won’t regret it!

After hard searching, I found this gem that has many ways to reserve our foods for future use... My mom followed each instruction and told me that was most helpful for her. Thanks a lot!
