By James Very informative and I think that a lot of people would do well to read this to gain a better perspective of how our mail system works and how we had it at the time. It explains how we overcame problems like the fact that at the time this was written, the United States had next to no mail capabilities between the west coast and east coast, as well as had to depend on Great Britain for all of our oversea mail.
