1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great for text, poor for illustrations By John Kent An original edition of this rare book costs $150+. For someone looking only to read the story, this reprint version is great and well worth the low cost. For art collectors, though, this print-on-demand version, like most, is not good. Of the eight plates in the original book, only seven are included (as it states one plate was missing from the source copy this was reprinted from) and all of them are printed in black & white, with rather poor reproduction at that. The art on the cover is great, but cropped in half. I wish these P-O-D publishers would print artwork in color, if that is how the originals were done, and charge a few dollars more for the added expense. I would certainly pay the extra cost. Amazon was real cool about allowing the refund for this purchase.
