They didn’t feel threatening or violent, but I was terrified and still am when I think of that night. That night changed me profoundly and in ways I never thought possible. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Compelling non fiction read. By Vahit Quite scary. Can't imagine the level of fear the author felt. I will soon be moving to a cabin in Pierce County Washington pretty far out in the wilderness. I will make sure all of my curtains and blinds will be shut everyday before the sun goes down. I love nature and animals and hope to see plenty. I think I would like to see a Sasquatch from a distance in the daytime...but I think I would go into cardiac arrest if I seen one looking into my window at night. Or one turning the doorknob in the middle of the night. (That actually happened to an aquaintance of mine) Maybe I will ask my husband to work day shift instead of nights.

4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Man's Traumatizing Bigfoot Encounter Causes Him to Bash Other Encounters By Admiralu This little book is a very vivid Bigfoot encounter. The encounter terrified the author and he still has a difficult time dealing with it, even having to see a therapist and face the loss of a marriage. This man has some serious trauma. That being said, he attempts to give some information on Bigfoot and comes to several ridiculous conclusions. He thinks that very few people have seen a Bigfoot, when in fact hundreds of people see them to this day. Despite his encounter, he knocks others for their encounters, claiming them not to be the real thing. That is the pot calling the kettle black. Just because he's had so much trouble accepting his encounter, it does not give him the right to dismiss everyone else's possible sightings. He also bashes Bigfoot investigation, claiming that all they want is fame. While there are some who do pull hoaxes or want attention, there are even more people who have far more knowledge and respect for Bigfoot as a species and have been conducting research for decades, before this man had his encounter. While it is an interesting tale, they never hurt him and this poor man just can't deal with what he saw. An great deal of people can deal with it and he should stick to his shrink to work out the trauma he just can't seem to get over. That is still no excuse to disrespect people like Dr. Jeff Meldum, Dr. John Bindernagel and other research professionals who take their scientific work seriously.

Pay the man!The author wrote this so well that I felt like I was cowering inside that truck with him, seeing and experiencing those dark hours with right beside him!!!!Worth every penny!
