It was written in the 19-teens, so it reflects the values and language of that time period--which I find entertaining. It was also written for a teenage reader. It is about a group of boy scouts spending some time in the woods and they encounter a group of military men practicing with new, super secret flying machines. (This is pre-air force and WWI.) They also encounter a mystery. It is very idealistic and full of boys having good, wholesome fun. It is one book in a series of Boy Scout books. Several of the other books in the series are available on kindle, but not all of them. Not going to win any literary awards, but it was an easy, enjoyable read.
